A series of attacks against trucks worries the authorities in South Africa, after 21 heavy goods vehicles have been looted and set on fire since Sunday July 9 in three different provinces. The investigators think of settling of accounts between entrepreneurs or the mafia, but the president qualifies them as “economic sabotage”. Police officials wanted to reassure the population, but they did not give many details about this series of attacks on the transport of goods.
