The attempted murder must have taken place sometime in the spring when Foxtrot leader Rawa Majid was at large in Iran. According to Aftonbladet’s information, Ismail Abdo then allegedly hired people to kill Rawa Majid. But the assassination attempt failed.
SVT has also received information about the attempted murder. According to them, an assassination squad was sent to Iran where Rawa Majid was located, but he managed to escape. The data comes from mutually independent sources.
Ismail Abdo is also said to have hired someone to assassinate Rawa Majid in Turkey last summer.
Rawa Majid is currently on the run. It is also unknown where Ismail Abdo is at the moment.
