Sources: Biden says he needs to sleep more and work less

The sources tell the newspaper that the meeting must have taken place in the White House, and that around two dozen key people in the president’s staff must have participated either on site or via link.

At the meeting, Biden must have assured the participants that he intends to continue his candidacy, but he admits at the same time that he was tired.

  • According to several people who participated in the meeting, he should have said several times that he pushed himself too hard and did not listen to his employees’ calls to take it easy, the NYT writes.

He is also reported to have said that he needs to rest more, work fewer hours and avoid events after 8pm.

Hawaii Governor Josh Green, who is a trained physician, is said to have also asked him about his health. Biden is then said to have replied that it is good, and that “it’s just the brain”.
