Superpesis’ top spot was at stake when last season’s finalists Vimpelin Veto and Sotkamon Jymy met for the first time in the summer on Sunday. Saarikentä’s hosts had a strong opening period, but lost to Jymy, who had risen to the top spot, in the home match with the score 1–2 (5-1, 4–6, 1–2).
