All of us who watch Robinson 2024 can agree that this year is one of the best ever. Those who handle the program’s casting, I hope, negotiate for a decent salary increase. Not least considering all the programs that are currently being canceled at TV4. Now if ever, it is important that the money rolls in and as a viewer I have not been able to tear myself away this season.
Robinson 2024: We need to talk about what Fireman Mark said
13 minutes into the first episode I was gaping at what characters they brought in this year.
I quickly got my clear favorites that still hold. Pelle Flood, Mark Bannon and Gustav Jacobson.
Bubbles on the list are Maureen Asic and Karin Nilsson. Incredible women I know you would have a great time with over a glass of wine. Plus they feel basic.
It can be perceived as a bit unattractive to mention someone you like slightly less… but I can say that I have a hard time Pål Schakonat. The guy has people around him who surely love him, but I don’t think that Pål’s best side was shown on a deserted island.

And when we’re on the subject, this first impression thing is interesting.
When I saw Marcus Håkansson during the first episodes I really quickly thought: Sigh… an entrepreneur with the emotions on the outside who takes cold showers in the morning and is going to tell people what the difference between “winner mentality and quitters” is.

“It’s all a matter of attitude” and so on which immediately makes me want to rip my ears off. You know the day after midsummer when you want to lie on your back and throw up and some elf says that “you can decide not to be behind”. That person.
And yes, no one can deny that Marcus feels like a typical entrepreneur. But there were many shades of this man I absolutely missed in the beginning.
What has happened under Robinson 2024 is that all normal people in recent weeks have been given a favorite team which is team south.

The thing to keep in mind is that it was Marcus who selected this team. And he did it in such a delicate (and manipulative) way that we were all noticeably impressed.
He has since shown so many funny, sensitive, humble and unexpected sides of the game that I really realized that in the end I just had to admit defeat and take off my old glasses.
He really is the best?!
During Sunday’s ear council, he was the one who left and I was genuinely sad because it feels like the program would be emptier and more boring without him.
So Marcus sorry for what I thought at the beginning. And please push yourself back into the program so they can see more of what you’re up to.
