The emergency services have sent ten extinguishing units and two management units to the scene.

– We’ll see. That is up to the regional operations leader to decide. It depends on the wind direction and whether the smoke moves in over a sensitive area, says Hans Eriksson.
At present, there is a risk of spread to buildings belonging to the area. This mainly applies to machine and tool sheds. There are no inhabited houses in the area. However, there is a risk that the fire will spread to adjacent forest.
The alarm about the fire came in at 1:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon, and it is estimated to be out by 8 p.m. at the earliest.
