Although the PlayStation Showcase failed, there may be more of a strategic reason behind it. Sony may be waiting for the right time for PlayStation announcements.
Sony, which received a lot of reaction after the PlayStation Showcase 2023 event that took place in the past days, has been leaked to have many games that have never been announced, even though they are very close to completion. PlayStation announcementsmay follow Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase on June 11th.
PlayStation announcements could come after Xbox Games Showcase
Productions such as Metal Gear Solid Delta and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 shown in the PlayStation Showcase do not seem to satisfy the players. PlayStation fans were disappointed after the disappointing event for players waiting for more punchy and console-specific titles.
Leaked information from Sony claims that most of the PlayStation games that we expect to be announced and shown are almost ready, although they do not appear in the PlayStation Showcase.
Insider GamingAccording to Tom Henderson of ‘Henderson, he suggests that PlayStation will make another presentation in the coming months to make up for this event. Commenting on the fact that the few games that were supposed to be released weren’t there, Henderson points out that it seems that most of the games are almost finished.
It seems that Sony seems to have fallen behind in the console war, but this is actually just a tactic. It looks like he’s beefing up his guns to make the big hit announcement.
Estimates for PlayStation announcements include productions such as Last of Us: Factions, Ghost of Tsushima 2 and Sucker Punch. It is also claimed that innovations will be announced in terms of hardware.
All of these are rumors, of course. However, considering its source, it seems that we will not have to wait long for new PlayStation announcements.
