How do I get the shovel? If you want to progress quickly in Sons of the Forest, there is no way around the shovel. Overall, however, you have to explore 3 dangerous caves for the item – in the right order.

To get the shovel you need the rope gun and the scuba gear. Otherwise you won’t be able to complete the Shovel Cave to get the new tool. Before entering the other caves, you should already be well equipped with armor and weapons:
