DC fans have long wanted Hunnam to embody the green DC archer. Speaking to Comicbook.com (via YouTube), the Rebel Moon actor was asked about it and explained:
People in suits approached me about the idea and thought I would find it incredibly exciting. Unfortunately, I couldn’t share your enthusiasm. I don’t know who Green Arrow is. I looked at a single picture and thought, “I think green isn’t my color. And spandex isn’t my fabric.” Thanks I am not interested.
Hunnam’s words may make DC fans sad, but even without a superhero role The star appears to have no shortage of blockbuster offerings. He will soon be seen in Netflix’s sci-fi epic Rebel Moon.
