Charlie Hunnam is indestructible. While filming sci-fi hit Rebel Moon, he shrugged his shoulders when he suffered a bad back injury. Now he revealed that he is working on the series Shantaram infected with six different diseases.

He revealed to the Hollywood Reporter:
When I was in India, I got bacterial intestinal infection, viral intestinal infection and acute respiratory disease. I had Conjunctivitis in both eyes, an ear infection and dengue fever from a mosquito bite.
The action series Shantaram is about an escaped Australian prisoner and was filmed largely in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. As with his horrifying injury while filming sci-fi, Hunnam was ill apparently not a serious obstacle.
When is action series Shantaram coming to Apple TV+?
Fans can already marvel at how Hunnam makes his way through the maze of streets in Mumbai. Shantaram has been running since October 14, 2022 on Apple TV+. The first season consists of 12 episodes that will air weekly through December 16th. Showrunner of the series is Steve Lightfoot (Marvel’s The Punisher).
