Nieuwegein – A number of overweight sheep that were previously removed from the animal pastures in Nieuwegein have been stocked. A spokesperson for the municipality confirmed this. The hope was that they would lose weight at a petting zoo, but that just didn’t happen. These sheep were in bad shape due to their excess weight.
