EA has announced that it has decided to discontinue some old Battlefield games. Rest in peace Battlefield 1943, Bad Company and Bad Company 2.
According to the announcement from Dice and Battlefield teams, Battlefield 1943, Bad Company and Bad Company 2 games are being removed completely. You can find the statement made by EA below.

Today EA BlogAfter the announcement made in , we learned that the sales of three productions stopped after 15 years.
“As we wrap up 15 years since the release of Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company™ 1 & 2, we announce the end of their journey.
Starting April 28, 2023, Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield: Bad Company 1 & 2 will be removed from the digital storefronts and you will no longer be able to purchase them. This is in preparation for the deprecation of online services for these games on December 8, 2023. For Bad Company 1 & 2 you can continue to play them and use their respective offline features such as the single player campaign. You can also read our FAQs and Service Updates for more information on online services discontinuation.
While these games hold a special place in our hearts, we now look forward to creating new memories with you as we shift our focus to our current and future Battlefield experiences.
