In Somalia, a deadly suicide attack hit, on the morning of Monday, July 24, a secure neighborhood in the Somali capital, Mogadishu. A bomb exploded among the recruits of a military academy, killing at least twenty of them, according to a provisional report drawn up by the Somali media. The Al-Shabaab jihadist group claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement.
