Four million have disappeared from Solna municipality’s account, according to information to Echo.
The incident is linked to a romance scam involving Mick Jagger.

The police are investigating suspected embezzlement within the municipality of Solna, which must have been going on for several years, according to information given to Ekot.
In total, four million kroner is missing from the municipality’s coffers.
The suspected crime must have been discovered recently and a week ago an employee of the municipality was suspended without pay before she was finally dismissed from her position.
According to Ekot, the woman must have been the victim of a romance scam where she believed for a long time that the rock singer Mick Jagger was in love with her.
“Incorrect payouts”
– I can confirm that there were incorrect payments from the city’s account to an account that should not have the money, says the municipality’s press manager Makan Afshinnejad to Ekot and continues:
– Without going into the case itself, I can say that it seems to be a very advanced approach.
An internal investigation has now been launched to get to the bottom of the scam.
– The city is working together with the police, bank and system supplier to map the scope. We have already implemented a number of actions and reduced permissions.
