Azelio’s board chairman Bo Dankis writes in one press release on the company’s website that there has been great interest in the company’s technology but that they have not managed to secure financing, and that is the reason why they are now filing for bankruptcy.
– It’s very sad. It was hoped that it wouldn’t go like this, with bankruptcy. We will have a meeting tomorrow where we will find out a little more about what that means, says Anders Ödman The provincial newspaper on Wednesday.
Affects employees in Åmål, Uddevalla and Gothenburg
Around 200 people are employed at Azelio in Åmål, Gothenburg and Uddevalla. On Wednesday, the announcement came from the Gothenburg District Court that the company had now been declared bankrupt.
