In the days announced Pantamera that the deposit on cans and bottles will be increased during 2025. The deposit will be increased by one kroner per package.
The new prices that apply are as follows:

To ensure that your money does not burn inside, there is a certain date to stick to. Namely, a bottle or jar only gives a deposit for two years after the sale of the product has ceased.
Returpack confirms to Nyheter24 that the last day for the sale of products with the old deposit is December 31, 2026.
These can therefore be pledged until 31 December 2028 at the latest.

But the higher deposit will also mean that the price of cans and bottles will be more expensive for customers in the stores.
To highlight two examples:
A can that previously cost 13 kroner – 12 kroner plus 1 kroner in deposit – will now cost 14 kroner, because the deposit is increased to 2 kroner.
A 1.5 liter bottle that previously cost SEK 24 – SEK 22 plus SEK 2 in deposit – will now cost SEK 26, as the deposit is increased to SEK 3.
