‘Winter Palace Soestdijk’, that’s what the former royal residence will be called in the coming weeks. Historically, that is actually quite a new application, because Soestdijk was for centuries a summer residence of the Oranges. Typical winter activities are organized on the estate until 8 January. With the exception of the holidays, visitors can come and see a Christmas-themed palace every day for a fee, from the outside and the inside.
