New policy
With a comprehensive document, Soest lays the foundation for new policy on the well-being of its residents. The so-called Integrated Vision Social Domain (2024-2028) becomes a guideline for how the municipality wants to facilitate a happy life in Soest and Soesterberg. The document will now be submitted to the city council.
If the vision is approved in October, the municipality will draw up an implementation plan. It states what exactly the municipality will do, how it will do it and with whom. It also makes clear what costs there are, how the effects are measured and evaluated, and how the municipality publicizes it.
