Do the province of Utrecht and the municipality of Soest adequately protect the badgers in Soesterberg? The Badger Working Group Utrecht & ‘t Gooi has serious doubts about it, now that there are plans for a residential area near two badger setts on the Oude Tempel estate. Soest previously received a penalty for violating nature legislation in that area. And that fine has not been paid.
