Södertälje municipality checks the criminal record on all employees
It was earlier in May that Södertälje municipality, after several years of preparatory work, announced that it will now begin to check the background of all employees and those looking for work in the municipality. Something that will happen in collaboration with a security company that will collect criminal information about previous convictions and prosecutions regarding sexual crimes, violent crimes, drug crimes and financial crime. This is not about the person himself collecting information at the request of the employer, but with a company with authorization collecting the information.
