In the 67th minute, Ramon Pascal Lundqvist had the chance to help IFK Gothenburg to their first win in the Allsvenskan since July 15.
But the midfielder had to restart his penalty attempt after he thought the referee had blown, and when it came time to shoot the penalty, HBK goalkeeper Tim Rönning made the save. And in minute 78 Yannick Agnero instead put 1–0 to Halmstads BK, after a quick counterattack. Night black for Blåvitt.
Pascal Lundqvist would, however, retaliate reasonably. With one minute left of regular time, he equalized and the home team began a feverish pursuit of the lead goal.
But the match ended 1–1 to the cheers of the crowd. Blåvitt is still one point ahead of HBK, which is in a negative qualifying position.
Pascal Lundqvist on the penalty:
– It had been so long since I had put the ball in that I thought he must have blown. But he didn’t have that, I don’t know what he was waiting for, he tells SVT Sport.
Did it bother you?
– Probably lost focus a little. But he read the penalty well and it was a bad penalty.
