Soccer: Fans storm Portugal training during EC warm-up – goalkeeper José Sá tackles supporter

Watch the level storming and tackling in the player above!

On Tuesday, Portugal enters the European Championship in Germany and the Czech Republic is the opposition. Right now the preparations are in full swing and on Friday a large crowd of fans went to the national team’s training. As many as 8,000 spectators showed up at the training ground to watch the stars roll the ball.

European Championship in soccer

  • Germany crushed Scotland in the opening match of the European Championship

  • The fan zone was evacuated in Berlin hours before the European Championship premiere

  • And special scenes were played out.

Several supporters stormed the training mat to get closer to the players – and for one of them it ended up with a trip down the hill.

Goalkeeper José Sá, a regular at Wolverhampton, dished out a solid (rugby-inspired?) tackle to the aforementioned infielder.

However, another of the supporters managed to capture a memorable moment with Cristiano Ronaldo. The person made it to the sovereign and the response was a hug before the security staff stepped in.

In addition to the Czech Republic, Portugal face Turkey and Georgia in Group F.
