In the last playoff match on the way to the final, there was a 1–0 victory for Emil Forsberg’s team in the meeting with Orlando.

The only goal of the match came early in the second half – and it was Andres Reyes who headed the ball in.
The Swede started and was replaced after 85 minutes of play.
In the team there is also another man in blue and yellow, namely Noah Eile, with a past in Mjällby and Malmö. He was substituted in the 70th minute.
In the final on December 7, they face the Los Angeles Galaxy who knocked out the Seattle Sounders. It was through an 87th minute goal by Serbian striker Dejan Joveljic and a 1–0 victory.
It is the second time in 29 years of league play that the New York Red Bulls are in the finals. A win in Los Angeles – the Galaxy get to play at home – on Saturday would be something extra.
