Four derby losses and not a single goal against Stockholm rivals Hammarby and AIK is the result for Djurgården in the 2024 season.
After the latest 0–2 loss, the coaching duo Bergstrand/Lagerlöf are fired.
“We thank Kim and “Tolle” for the years we’ve had together and from the entire side of Djurgården Football we wish them all the best going forward,” says sporting director Bosse Andersson in a press release.
Already at the beginning of October, SVT Sport was able to report that Bergstrand and Lagerlöf were on their way out, information that has been raised several times since then.
Lagerlöf does not want to comment on the situation beyond the fact that he is no longer a coach at the club.
