In Monster Hunter Wilds You can collect resources free of charge and automatically thanks to the material retrieval or material procurement. How the feature works, what you have to consider and what restrictions there are, you can read about meinmmo.

What kind of feature is that? Material retrieval or in German material procurement is a function that you unlock in the later course of the game. This allows you to automatically collect resources that you can then pick up later.

Monster Hunter Wilds: unlock the retrieval material and prerequisites

Requirements: In order to unlock material procurement, you must have completed the last main mission of Chapter 4-2, “lurking shadows”. You can read elsewhere how many chapters Monster Hunter is wild.

Restrieval unlock material: If you have done the main story so far, you can talk to Apar in Suja to unlock the feature. Here you get the first quests, at the end of which APAR then searches for you. Later you can also unlock other collectors.

Important instructions:

  • Every person who can collect material for you has their own quest that you have to do before they can start collecting for you. All collectors can be found in the table below.
  • Each village has its own agricultural products that you can collect for you. So you can’t get everything in every village.
  • Materials can be stacked up to 16 slots, then the collectors stop. So get the materials quickly enough.
  • How much the collectors find depends on the rarity of the materials: the less often the material, the less it is collected. Material is divided into three rarity levels (1 to 3 stars).
  • Which and how much material the collectors find also depends on the season. You can read how you can change the time of year.
