So the Swedes would spend 13 billion

A lottery winner in the USA scooped the jackpot of the equivalent of SEK 13.4 billion.
That’s how the Swedes would spend the sum.
– I would help my friend, says Isabel Crane.

One person collected $1.22 billion, equivalent to SEK 13.4 billion, after winning the Mega Millions jackpot in the United States. It is the fifth largest win in the history of the game.

– It is far too much money. I actually don’t know if I could handle that amount. But hopefully I had thought a little better and donated the money to some charity, says Peppe Andersson to TV4 Nyheterna.

“Can move from here”

Kjell Gundersen also believes that it is a large price sum.

– 13 billion, that is an enormous sum, he says.

When asked how he would spend the money, he says that he could imagine moving from Sweden to some “warm and nice country”.

– You can move from here and come up with something else in the autumn of your age when you are a pensioner, he says.

“Would help people with cancer”

Monika Brannäs says that she would give away a large part of the sum.

– I would give away, and give away, and give away. I would keep 50 million myself. Because the housing crisis is brutal, I want to help my family get good housing, she says.

Isabel Crane would donate money to help people with cancer, she says.

– I would help my friend first, and I would help people with cancer. That’s the first thing I would do.
