Between January 1 and November 21, 2024, 4,668 Model 3 was inspected by year model 2020. Of these, 1,051 cars, 22.5 percent, did not go through the inspection at first check.

Norwegians find rust in drives
Norwegian NAF, Norway’s Automobile Association, has investigated that six years old Tesla Model 3. They managed to find severe rust in several places in the car.
– I have to say that I am a little surprised that it is so bad after six years, says NAF’s rust protection expert.
The Norwegian observations point to widespread rust problems, not least in older Tesla cars.
The crux is that a lot of rust is found where it is not visible to the naked eye.
– The bolts that hold the battery in place have a tendency to rust very quickly, says Matti Flomsud, one of the Nordic region’s foremost rust experts.
It turns out that Tesla Model 3 rusts in places that are usually not associated with rust. It is undoubtedly a problem on the latitudes where the roads are salted – including Sweden.
It is important to pay extra attention to your Tesla, not least if you are engaged in winter driving.
