The prices are calculated based on spot prices (monthly prices) on the electricity exchange for the respective electricity area in July 2022 and July 2020. In electricity area 1 and 2, the spot prices are the same and therefore only electricity area 1, 3 and 4 are reported.
The appliances’ electricity consumption is based on an average and the use per month is estimated.
To make the prices comparable, mark-up prices in the form of fees and taxes have been calculated based on standard amounts. The price for electricity trade agreements has been calculated based on 25 percent VAT and 10 percentage points for electricity certificates and fees. The price for electricity network agreements has been calculated based on 0.49.5 öre per kWh in fee and 0.45 öre per kWh in electricity tax. The top-up prices vary depending on which electricity contracts you have and where you live.
