Crashes on snowy roads kept Chatham-Kent police busy Wednesday.

Emergency crews were called to Creek Road in Harwich Township about 11:30 am after a northbound vehicle failed to navigate a bend and collided head-on with another vehicle, police said. Minor injuries were reported.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was charged with careless driving, police said.

About 1 pm, a vehicle went off Kenesserie Road in Howard Township and struck a utility pole, police said. The driver was injured.

Then in Rushton’s Corners about 6:30 pm, a vehicle slid off Kent Bridge Road while trying to avoid colliding with a passing vehicle. The driver was injured.
