A blizzard has moved in over Sweden.
SMHI has issued orange and yellow weather warnings for parts of the country.
– Those who can should work at home, says Bengt Olsson at the Swedish Transport Administration.
It is pouring down in several parts of the country. The severe snow storm has moved in during Tuesday morning and SMHI has issued several warnings in the country.
Northern Götaland and parts of eastern Svealand will be worst affected along with southernmost and eastern Svealand.
Even the Swedish Transport Administration is flagging for the terrible weather.
– I urge everyone to follow the weather development. Those who can should work at home depending on how severe the weather is where you are, says Bengt Olsson, press manager at the Swedish Transport Administration.
Cancels all bus penalties
Hallandstrafiken has chosen to cancel all bus services after Tuesday’s snowstorm. There is no forecast for when the buses will start running again.
“The weather situation has rapidly deteriorated in the entire county and for safety reasons it is no longer possible to drive the buses,” writes Hallandstrafiken on its website.
