In the middle of the night, two snowmobiles went through the ice on Lake Møsvatn in Vinje, west of Oslo in Norway. Two middle-aged men have been found dead.
“Rescue forces with helicopter and hovercraft were sent there, but lives could not be saved,” writes the Sørøst police district on Twitter.
The police state that the alarm came at 01.37 on the night of Saturday, and that the incident is seen as a tragic accident.
