The majority of the collisions were single motor vehicles that had lost control, but none resulted in serious injuries, police said.
With the change in weather, police are urging motorists to slow down and be aware of areas that might ice up.
Outstanding warrant
A man ended up in custody after Chatham-Kent responded to a call about a suspicious person near a boat on private property.
The police arrived at the area Jeanne Street area of Wallaceburg and found a man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Breaching curfew
Chatham-Kent police stopped a man on Spencer Avenue in Chatham was reportedly found to be breaching his curfew.
But that wasn’t the end of his problems.
Police alleged the man was found with break and enter tools in his possession while being arrested.
He was charged with breach of an undertaking and possession of break and enter tools.
He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
