Snowfall over the Little Skiing Games in Falun – “It was a bit fluffy”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

There were nearly 900 who started during Saturday’s individual races. One of them was Lisa Bäckström from Storvreta IK, who wished she had gone harder at the start:

– I would have had to sprint away from the person I started against to get to the finish line first, she says.

The Little Skiing Games have existed since 1974 and the event is Sweden’s largest children’s and youth competition in cross-country skiing. This year there were also participants from Norway, the USA and Switzerland.
