November was heading towards the best of the year, but a proper snowstorm at the end of the month ruined the trend. In the end, it was noted that 90.9 percent of the passenger trains were on time.
The first ten months of the year have been less punctual, not least for the long-distance trains.
Punctuality for short-, medium- and long-distance trains was 87.5 percent during January–October this year, according to a review by South Sweden which was published last Thursday and which, among other things, is based on figures from the Swedish Transport Administration and Trafikanalys.
According to the newspaper, it is the lowest figure since at least 2013, if you compare the full-year figures of those years.
For long-distance trains, it is even worse. Only 71.4 percent of the trains arrived on time during the first ten months of the year, which can be compared with 80.8 percent last year.
