Stadium Outlet is recalling a snorkel mask as it has not been investigated whether it can ventilate carbon dioxide well enough.

If the ventilation does not work, the user may become unconscious and drown, the Swedish Consumer Agency writes on its website.

The snorkel mask is called “Carromco Snorkeling Mask U” and is incorrectly CE marked. The ventilation must be examined before a snorkel mask receives a CE mark, which has not happened in this case.

The article number affected is 700197101. The mask has been sold in Stadium Outlet’s stores and website during the period 1 April 2021 to 27 October 2022.

Those who have purchased the mask are asked to stop using it immediately and return it to the retailer. No receipt needed.
