Snorkel mask recalled – can be dangerous

No investigation has been conducted regarding the ability of the mask to ventilate carbon dioxide. A lack of ventilation on a snorkel mask “can lead to symptoms such as dizziness and unconsciousness with suffocation or drowning risk as a result”, writes The Swedish Consumer Agency on its website.

The affected Scuba Gear snorkel mask part numbers are 786855, 786856, 786857, 786858, 786859, 786860, 854307, 854308, 854309 and 854310.
