At the beginning of last year, we got to know Marko “Markoolio” Lehtosalo’s mother Irma on television for the first time. In the reality series “Marko & Irma”, the duo renovated Irma’s house out on Ingarö with everything that entailed and it didn’t take long before Irma became a real viewer favorite – and then also a favorite on social media. The media barometer named Irma the rocket of the year 2023.
Already in May, just a couple of months after season one ended, TV4 confirmed that there will be another season of the series.
– We don’t know 100 percent what to come up with, we have a few ideas. But we are going to do some strange and good things, said Marko when he guested on Nyhetsmorgon in the same vein.
It happens in the second season of Marko & Irma
At that time, the recordings had not started. But now the second season is recorded and ready, ready to be broadcast at the beginning of 2024. In “TV4’s New Year’s Caramels” we now get a sneak peek at the first part of what we will see this spring.
In a trailer, we hear Marko tell:
– On the mother’s plot it is still complete construction chaos, so this summer I will try to help her fix it. It should go pretty quickly, if it weren’t for everything else in life going on at the same time.
And it ends with mother Irma saying:
– I love my life!
