SNCF strike traffic forecasts for Friday January 20

SNCF STRIKE. This Friday, January 20, 2023, if the mobilization against the pension reform officially ends at 8 a.m., the strike continues locally with disruptions on the Transilien and RER lines in Île-de-France.

[Mis à jour le 19 janvier 2023 à 19h08] After this Thursday of hassle and major disruptions where nearly 503 TGVs had been canceled, and where 1 TER out of 10 was in circulation to protest against the pension reform presented by the Borne government, traffic will return almost to normal this Friday. January 20, 2023, with the exception of some local disruptions in Île-de-France, on the RER and Transiliens managed by SNCF.

Indeed, the management of the SNCF announced in a press release that “the strike notice within the framework of the national interprofessional social movement will end as planned tomorrow at 8 am”. UAnother strike date should however be considered from next week, the unions wishing to continue the movement against the pension reform “over time”.
