SNCF strike: TGV traffic “normal on all axes from tomorrow”

SNCF strike TGV traffic normal on all axes from tomorrow

STRIKE SNCF. This Friday, December 17, 2021, if strikes are still raging on the TGV of the south-east and on the RER and Transilien of Île-de-France, the management of the SNCF assured that the return to normal would be for this first week -end of Christmas holidays. Traffic forecasts.

[Mis à jour le 17 décembre 2021 à 14h18] Guest of France Info this Friday, Christophe Fanichet, the SNCF Group digital deputy general manager and CEO of SNCF Voyageurs, reassured users who take the train this weekend. “This weekend we are expecting a million travelers and they will have normal traffic, today on three axes, and on all axes from tomorrow”.

Indeed, while the traffic of the TGV, Ouigo and Intercités of the south-east, which notably link Paris to Lyon and Marseille, is today “very degraded” at the rate of one in two trains, the CGT-Cheminots unions, Unsa rail and SUD-Rail lifted the strike call from this Saturday, December 18, negotiations for a Covid bonus and a salary increase having finally been concluded with the management of the SNCF.

This Friday, TGV traffic is normal on all other TGV North, East and Atlantic axes, and this throughout the weekend. However, disturbances still remain on the TER of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Center-Val de Loire, Pays de la Loire and Normandy regions.

The RER and Transilien are still on strike at the call of the CGT Cheminots de Paris which protests against the abolition of positions in stations. One in three trains runs on average on the RER B, C, D and E lines and on all the Transilien. Consult all the disruptions line by line using our summary opposite.

The TGV and Ouigo of the south-eastern axis which, from the Gare de Lyon in Paris, serve the cities of Dijon, Besançon, Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand, Marseille, Nice or even Grenoble, are very disrupted this Friday, December 17 2021, with 50% of traffic in circulation.
