SNCF STRIKE. Black day on the rails of France this Thursday, January 19, 2023. If the French are invited to limit their movements, here are the TGV, Ouigo, TER, Intercités and Transilien forecasts for those who cannot do otherwise.
[Mis à jour le 18 janvier 2023 à 8h34] This Thursday, January 19, 2023, travelers will have to face major disruptions on the SNCF rails. Few TGV, TER, Intercités and RER are in circulation all day.SNCF agents, the majority of whom are train drivers, protested against the postponement of the legal retirement age from 62 to 64 and the abolition of the special scheme, a measure provided for in the pension reform presented by the government.
On average 1 out of 10 TER is in circulation this Thursday, there is no Intercités running, and on the TGVs, nearly 503 trains are canceled… Remember that transport is extremely disrupted in Île-de-France as well , with the RATP joining the mobilization. If for the time being, the strike must concentrate on this single day of January 19, a slow strike, or even an indefinite strike, could very well be envisaged at the end of this first day of strike.
