[Mis à jour le 16 février 2023 à 13h06] On this 5th day of interprofessional strike against the pension reform, mobilization is down sharply at the SNCF with only 14% of strikers at the SNCF, against 25% on Tuesday, February 7, during the previous mobilization. The traffic of the main lines shows 4 out of 5 TGVs in circulation and 1 out of 2 Intercités. In the middle of the winter holidays, travelers have already been informed of the cancellation or maintenance of these long-distance trains by email or SMS.
Concerning the Transiliens, users must plan on average 2 out of 3 trains, while on the TER, only one out of two trains is in circulation. On the RER lines, only RER A provides normal traffic. - International train disruptions : almost normal traffic on the Eurostar and the Thalys and 1 Lyria out of 2 this Thursday 16 February. Regarding the other international connections, the SNCF expects almost normal traffic.
Through a communicated published on February 10, “the trade unions CGT Cheminots, UNSA-Ferroviaire, SUD-Rail and CFDT Cheminots reaffirm their total commitment, and that of the railway workers, in the large-scale social movement which is settling in the country for the long term” by participating “massively to the demonstrations” and by acting “through the strike on February 16, 2023 to broaden, amplify the mobilization and prepare the necessary follow-up to bring down this reform”.
