The Stations & Connections service of the SNCF announced the news on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. A partnership has been concluded with the start-up Nannybag. Objective: to re-offer luggage lockers to travelers near around thirty stations in France, these having been gradually removed for security reasons (attacks), but also for profitability. To date, in fact, only a few major stations, such as Paris Gare de Lyon or Marseille Saint-Charles, still have them.
How it works ? The principle is simple. After a reservation made in advance via the Ma Gare application and for 6 euros per day and per luggage, travelers who wish to can store their suitcases, their bags, but also their strollers at a merchant, in a hotel, in a restaurant. or in a café located less than five minutes from the station.
Which stations are affected? In all, therefore, around thirty stations will benefit from this partnership concluded for one year, but renewable for two more years. In detail, the stations of Paris Saint-Lazare, Paris Bercy, Massy TGV, Saint-Étienne Châteaucreux, Bayonne, La Rochelle, Grenoble, Metz, Amiens, Arcachon, Avignon Centre, Beaune, Biarritz, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Clermont -Ferrand, Lourdes, Nancy, Nantes, Nîmes, Pau, Rennes, Rouen-Rive-Droite, Saint-Jean-de-Luz Ciboure, Toulon, Toulouse Matabiau, Tours and Vichy are part of this new experience.
