Digital Chat Station from well-known leaksters on Weibo has revealed the key specs of an upcoming Snapdragon 7 series chipset. The source of the leak is one of the upcoming chipset. Adreno 662 GPUbesides 4x Cortex-A710 CPUs to the core and 4x Cortex-A510 CPU it says it will have a helper core.
This replaces one of the Cortex-A710 cores with an extra powerful Cortex-X2 core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1Just one step behind.
The upcoming chip will likely be in line with the company’s revamped naming convention. Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will be named.
There is still no information on who will make the chip. It can be based on Samsung’s 4nm process or TSMC’s 5nm.
