Snapchat planets: Meaning, order and solar system

Snapchat planets Meaning order and solar system

What are Snapchat planets?

Snapchat planets is a trendy feature that turns your friendships into a solar system and lets you see who are your closest friends on Snapchat in the form of planets.

You are the Sun in your own solar system, and your friends are planets orbiting you.

Snapchat planets – order

The closer a planet is to the Sun (you), the closer you are friends with the person.

As you know, how close you are to a friend on Snapchat is determined by how many snaps and chats you send to and receive from that person.

The order of the Snapchat planets is as follows, from closest friend to furthest:

  • Mercury
  • Venus
  • The earth
  • March
  • Jupiter
  • Saturn
  • Uranus
  • Neptune
  • All Snapchat planets. Photo: Snapchat Support

Snapchat planets – can I see my friends’ solar system?

When you’re a Plus member, you can see badges on your friends’ profiles:

  • “Best Friends” it says if you are both on each other’s top lists.
  • “Friends” it says if you are on their list, but not the other way around.
  • When you click on the badge, a planet will appear showing where you are in your friend’s solar system.

However, you cannot see their entire solar system, and no one can see yours.
