The Labrador Systems company has developed a robot capable of making everyday life easier for the elderly or those with reduced mobility. What could be better than a helping hand when you are unable, for example, to carry your meal from the kitchen to the dining room. The Labrador Retriever looks like a table with wheels and can carry a maximum load of 11 kg, adjust its height or even retrieve a tray itself using robotic arms. It is thanks to its many sensors that this robot assistant manages to move around independently on pre-established routes.

The connected scale of Withings, Body Scan

The French firm has unveiled a new connected scale capable of recording an electrocardiogram thanks to a retractable handle equipped with electrodes.
Body Scan analyzes body composition (muscle mass, fat mass, bone mass and water) by segmentation. Thus, Withings allows users to view the composition of their trunk, arms and legs separately.
Available in black or white, Body Scan will be marketed this year, from 300 euros.

It has two stereo speakers, but can be used with headphones. The Chinese brand promises the equivalent of a projection of a screen diagonal of 140 inches, 4 meters away, thus guaranteeing an immersive experience worthy of a movie theater.

Samsung goes strong with its 55-inch rotating screen

A swivel screen that adapts to your needs, that’s what Samsung provides with its Odyssey Ark. This 55-inch 4K curved screen is dedicated to both gaming and work.
Vertically, the Odyssey Ark displays a maximum of four superimposed windows. When rotated horizontally, the screen transforms into a true 16: 9 gaming monitor. Its price is still unknown for the moment, but its marketing is scheduled for 2022.
