Five area Tim Hortons in Blenheim, Ridgetown, Tilbury and Thamesville will donate their proceeds to OSNP-Chatham Kent, which offers funding and support to help 41 local schools develop and implement healthy school breakfast, snack and lunch programs.
“Smile Cookie Week helps support the sustainability of local school food programs,” said Danielle Findlay, OSNP’s community relations supervisor, in release.
“Schools are feeling the pressure of food inflation, so this campaign goes a long way in helping to ensure that children and youth get the nourishment they need to succeed at school.”
Community members, individuals and organizations can support the campaign by placing bulk orders at participating Tim Hortons. Pre-order forms for purchases by the dozen are available in store and online.
