The warning applies from Easter Sunday onwards for northern Västmanland, northern Örebro County, Värmland and the southern parts of Dalarna and Gävleborg. Northern Stockholm County and large parts of Uppsala County are also covered.
According to SMHI, the snowmelt and rain of the last few days can cause high flows in rivers, streams and ditches in the areas. There can also be high current speeds in the waterways.
