Otherwise, traditional Swedish summer weather awaits, with both sun and rain.
A cold front moves in over Götaland on the night of Sunday and brings with it showers that can be heavy. Thunderstorms may occur. Local thunderstorms are also expected in Svealand and Norrland.
During Monday, the cloud cover will lighten up.
“During Tuesday, warmer air will come from the south and then the temperatures will rise to 25 degrees in the sun, even if it is still cloudy,” says Katarina Anderssonmeteorologist at SMHI.
Even during Wednesday, it will continue to be warm, but cloudy in large parts of Sweden. Rain may occur in central Sweden.
During Thursday, a low pressure grows in from the west, which during the day stretches over central Sweden and down towards Gotland. In connection with that, the temperatures drop to below 20 degrees.
