It has to do with a small, but strong low pressure, which brings snow and strong winds, writes SMHI in a comment on its website on Friday morning.
Could be a storm
On the coasts there may be local storms.
But the low pressure is expected to quickly move southeast over Götaland and reach Gotland later in the evening.
On Thursday, meteorologist Viktor Bergman at SMHI warned that there could be heavy snow in some places.
“Where it’s at its worst, there can be up to 15 centimeters of snow,” said Viktor Bergman at the time.
Yellow warnings, for the snow, are issued for large parts of Götaland. And along the entire coast, also into the Baltic Sea, there are yellow gale warnings.
Göteborgs-Posten writes that Västtrafik is canceling all trains between Borås and Varberg and between Uddevalla and Strömstad from midnight due to the storm.
