SMHI issues a yellow warning
– One thing that affects is the timing, that it is expected during the morning in connection with the rush hour traffic and that it looks like it will come in a fairly short time, which has made us judge that it is justified with a warning, says Matthias Lind.

Up to a decimetre of snow
SMHI has also issued a yellow warning for snowfall in parts of western and central Svealand and northernmost Götaland, which is valid until six o’clock on Tuesday morning. SMHI expects that there may be up to one decimeter of snow in southern Dalarna in particular.
— In Dalarna, the precipitation has already turned into snowfall, and it is snowing quite heavily in some places right now. Then there is still rain and quite a lot of plus degrees if you look south in the warning area, but there is expected to be a rather rapid cover during the night and it looks like there will be slightly larger amounts of snow there than in eastern Svealand, says Lind.
